My first attempt at a fursuit mask! It's an absol, one of the most badass Pokemon ever. Her name's June :3
I'm pretty happy with how this came out! My main complaints are that the seams are a bit too visible for my liking (especially on the blue fleece fabric), my hot glue job got a bit messy at times, and the ventilation could be better (It's not like you can't breath in it at all, but it's a little difficult, so I'd prolly have to take a lot of breaks while wearing it) >.<
This is for a partial fursuit. Tell me what you think!
...Yeah, I'm in my pajamas XD

the shaping is pretty good! next time, be sure to stitch the fleece together into one larger piece before attaching it to the mask -- i think you'll be a lot happier with the seams, glue can get sloppy without fur to hide it. i've had to step back many a time and remove glue accidents myself *_*
Looks great for a first attempt!
I agree with Jill about stitching the fleece together before putting it on the mask.
Also, I'm not sure if you did this, but try taping the whole face part first to get a perfect pattern to cut out of the fleece so it will fit the base like a glove. This will make it look a lot neater and I think you will be happier with it too.
Also, a suggestion for over all performance and practicality of the mask, I would make the mouth open more. This will allow you to breath better and keep you cooler when wearing it. Also, the eyes are a little far apart. I can imagine you can't see very well or straight ahead while wearing it. Next time around, try making the bridge of the nose a little narrower. You'll have better vision and less of a blind spot.
But again, for a first try, this is very good, and you have a lot of potential. I would definitely say keep practicing because I think you'll only get better.

Yeah, I taped it. I think I messed it up somewhere though, because there's one random spot that didn't get covered by the pattern. I'll just have to be more careful next time >.<
I agree with you about the mouth, but for the eyes, there's actually a little area over the eye that the wearer can see out of as well.
Thank you very much! I'm definitely planning to make more masks in the future :D

Yea. Well I know from having my own share of suits where the eyes were just not quite in the right place that the sight got to be annoying. I mean, it's mostly trial and error. If it works for you though, then awesome!
I just would suggest that you don't get too attached to one way of doing it because the best way to learn is to try something a little differently each time and see what sort of difference it makes. Again, you'll only get better.
I'm watching you now to keep an eye on your improvements.
