This was a very early drawing of Sigma. Drawn in 2006, converted to digital in 2008 and then tweaked a little more over the coming years, it was one of my first insights into digital shading. He looks really smooth. ^..^
It was also my first little experiment into raptor flexibility. Since raptors have long legs and short arms, a hog-tied raptor has bent legs and arms pulled straight, and leaving their haunches quite exposed! Well, can't complain, in more ways than one ;p There just isn't enough raptor bondage in the world, but one more now...
Many thanks to
chrissawyer because I used some of his dino artwork to work out the anatomy correctly, but the pose is unique :) I've had a lot of fun over time with raptor friends, putting them into this bind and watching them hop along, then of course having the favour returned ^..^
