I don't know how long exactly... I think this took about 12 hours. Far too long, considering a lot of it is more photo manipulation than painting.

That looks really awesome! It reminds me of the sandstone carvings in the Middle-East as well as the canyon ruins in North America.

Gorgeous.

But the uniformity of the rows of pillars slightly takes away from the stuff on the right. Perhaps if a few of them were broken or collapsed? But if its just concept, its probably fine :E
