ooh, that's really fast for trombone. I hope you've got some good players lined up

lol, its not too bad really...only 90 bpm. The bass trombone does have a bit of fun, but its mostly scale passages for the fast parts. My friend and I can probably handle it after a little practice. :P Thankies for listening =<^-^>=~~

Most people don't have decent midi on their computers either :( I think it would sound great on a real trombone though I kinda like how regal it sounds with the french horn that its in now.

Yea, hopefuly ill finish writing the last section soon and ill try to record it in a week or two. They are actually flute midis that im using here. I wish i had my iLife disk so i can install the full version of my program...then the midi would be much better...and id have a lot more options...lol

Oh I borrowed the expansion pack from a friend and they sound pretty good:) especially the strings!

yea...i love GB...and its pretty easy to use, especially if you know how to write music to begin with. I hope to get the full version soon...and then slowly work on the expansions...>,>

Sounds beautiful, I love writing for two instruments (in fact I have a whole suite written for flute and clarinet). So far it sounds beautiful! Maybe this would be better suited for valve trombones rather than slide trombones ^^

Glad you like it. I actually have the upper part recorded and it isnt very difficult. The lower part however is a bit of a challenge as the passages are fairly quick and low. Im working on figuring out alternative positions to be able to record it better. And, though valve trombones would be easier, I personally cant stand the tone of them. They sound like nails on a chalkboard to me >,> I hope to put out some more stuff like this soon. i have one im working on for flute and clarinet currently in the works.

Well, yeah, but sometimes you have to compromise... I wonder how the keyed trumpet sounded!
