On the 19th Day of Christmas, Virgolk didn't feel so tough...
So he took comfort in a fatwoof's belly fluff!

The werewolf sighed, looking at his phone.... The message of "Sorry, cancelling tonight" glared at him with its intensity.
"Of course you are." The werewolf huffed out, letting his breath flow into the chilled night air. "Well, seems I got nothing planned for the next few hours...." Grimacing, the werewolf used his free hand to rub at his eye, anticipating it to be a little wet from his frustration.
"E...excuse me?" A timid voice asked, making Sarge bend over to see who spoke to him. Since the voice came from below his belly, he had trouble seeing anything aside for a set of black horns.
"Ahh, hello. Can I... help you?" The werewolf took a step back, finally seeing the green coloration of a small kobold. The small figure had its arms wrapped tightly to its chest. It jittered and shook ever so slightly.
The werewolf felt his heart sink at the sight. Was the poor thing cold?
"Do... do you have a s-spare jacket... or even a scarf... or maybe a mitten would help!" The kobold shivered again. "I... I'm far away from home, a-and waiting for the bus is making me cold."
The werewolf frowned. "I don't have a spare jacket... but you certainly need your warmth." Biting his lip, the werewolf looked around, seeing if there was a nearby shop... but at this time of night, it was unlikely anywhere was open.
The kobold shivered more, and with what the werewolf could only assume was instinct, it moved closer to his legs so it could feel warm. Wrapping its arms around his knee, the werewolf could feel its shivers. They were prominent compared to the earlier visage.
"Oh, that won't do." The werewolf stated flatly.
The kobold stopped, backing away, continuing to shiver. "I... I... I'm sorry! Forgive me! I'm just... just..."
Before the kobold could finish his statement, the werewolf bent over and picked it up. Unzipping his jacket, the werweolf placed the kobold inside and zipped it back up. "I'd be darned if I let you freeze out here. We'll wait for your bus together."
It took a few minutes, but the kobold eventually stopped shivering.
