Valga station on border of Latvia and Estonia
We arrived there from Riga on this beautiful DR1AM diesel train (on the right) and simply crossing the platform, boarded Stadler diesel train to Tallinn (on our particular route - to Tartu)
This seems very symbolical for us. Theres how border between good-neighbour countries looks like.
I really loved travelling in Latvia, seeing many visual details in cities and railroads well-preserved. People really care about heritage there. Beautiful and calm.
And in Estonia they reconstructed whole railways network, replaced older trains with modern ones, that are also nice and beautiful. Estonians call them "carrots" for bright colors of livery

Baltic countries in this aspect are really refreshing for me. Way they recover after XX century, how they maintain their heritage - seeing it all gives nice impression.
Especially in connection with calm athmosphere without any tension, without any senseless idiots (like it is in russia recent years, where anything turning to a model of prison).
