My current project in Second Life, a life size replica of the British Railways Standard Class 9F locomotive. This 2-10-0 loco was the last kind to be built by BR before the change over to Diesel and Electric. This kind of loco is the most powerful type of steam engine before the change and was primarilly designed for heavy freight haulage. The very last 9F to be built was built for passenger service since they proved just as effective to haul passanger cars and this passanger type 9F was called the Evening Star.
