Here we have Glenn looking rather apprehensive with someone or something, no doubt ready to make his retreat. Having grown up orphaned and homeless in an overpopulated city, the young man developed a healthy distrust of his fellow humans, most interactions with them being negative for his formative years.

Afflicted with a deep seeded inferiority complex, the human found himself gravitating to the company of more beastly beings, finding comfort in the fact that he knew exactly where he stood amongst his "betters". There was no ambiguitity, no posturing, no social politics and dishonesty between humans and their natural predators. The truth of their power disparity was comforting to the young man who had already considered himself beneath all others. The poster child for finding "freedom in slavery" Glenn eventually ended up in the service of the King of Vamstead, Lord Igmas.
