Lily was a background character for me for the longest time, but especially if you have me on Discord, you will see that she has resurfaced a lot lately. She is now almost as much of a main character as Valcyrie.

More than anything it was my trip to Florida this autumn that really brought her back. Funny enough the white beaches and the tropical climate is pretty much Lily's environment story-wise, and she's a southern farm girl. But that's not the main reason she came out. Being brought up on the countryside, Lily is a practical and tomboyish girl who likes being homey and houesy, and during my trip I got to be that a lot. I repaired stuff in my BF's home, helped fix his car, cooked food, stuff like that. Over all, it really fed this side of me.

You see, I was brought up a farm girl. My parents taught me self-sufficiency early on and I cook, clean and pack my own bags already by age six. I spent my childhood in the forests, building treehouses, harvesting crops, fishing and shooting. At age 12 I could drive a tractor, and at 14 a harvester. It was 2 years later, when I was 16, that "Val" was born. I moved into the big city to attend high school and after that university, and city life changed me. Val is who I am, but Lily is who I grew up as, and she still resides within me. And I like that. Normally I'm a goth, but some days when I feel more like Lily, the jean kutte and JD cap gets put on~
