I had a lot of fun with this one. I spent a while deciding on how to compose the third panel, and whether to retain fewer, deeper panels at all. I'm quite pleased with this in the end, and it's one of my favourites so far.

These are manipulated screenshots of Fallout 3. I spend close to an hour a strip, designing the layout of the strip and then orchestrating camera angles, painting layers over them and all of that, which is my really long-winded way of saying that this is Fallout 3 and I'm just making a strip based from that engine.
When my artistry is up to the challenge, I'll transition out from relying on playing the game to doing the strips myself purely, but for now, this is a rather nice start.

You know I always hate those FO3 mods that add in blue skys and vegetation. Yes it's been 200 years but the idea is that DC got nuked to shit and all the water is deadly radioactive - yes it would still be dusty, no vegetation can grow, all the trees are fucking dead from radiation so there's nothing to hold the top soil down. . . wait er yeah I think that's relevant here. . . almost.
I do have that mod, but that's not installed at this point. I don't think. I can run it in a second to double-check, but I'm pretty sure those trees are meant to be there. As far as the sky is concerned, I just needed it blue for the sake of this comic, but I agree with you. The mods can be fun for a moment, but they do pretty terrible things to the lore.
