Using 3D for your environments is a really good idea, but you might want to play around with the shader settings a bit.
Have you, perhaps, considered using 3D to generate just the line art and then colouring it as normal?

If you haven't noticed the 3D components of my backgrounds until now, I'd say I'm doing fine. This was a gift, so I wasn't gonna spend 3 hours repainting things like I normally would :p

But yeah, I usually do a lot of work to make things not look like a 3D model, even though I use quite a lot of them.

Your accuracy can be better with a Cybertronian Anti-Tachyon Disruptor Rifle, it has no projectile drop, 'cause it uses an ElectroMagnetic field.

Unless the round has antigravitational properties, even light is affected by gravity. Granted at this distance, it wouldn't really matter, but at the same time, we're trying to keep the tower standing :D

Anti-Tachyons are not photons.

The thing is, I can see this kind of poor accuracy when using a self bow or a recurve bow, where the arrow rest is to one side of the bow and you have to figure out how to rest the arrow. That thing has cams to reduce the power input needed (no shaking muscles) and and is a center shot bow (the arrow is held for you). This guy is basically failing on easy mode.

Compound bows still require technique and accuracy, the only real difference is that a compound bow can output more power for less input.
