Drawing his power from positive emotions, the role of a comedian was made for the likes of Pinstripe, a pony who can't seem to take himself or anyone else seriously. He always seems to have a witty comment on the tip of his tongue even if it's not always appropriate. Though he seems to have little capability of being malicious, he does have a wry and sometimes dark sense of humour that can be said to be an acquired taste. All the same, his acts are often enjoyed by the younger ponies who see nothing wrong with spending time being made to laugh, enjoying the lively atmosphere that always acompanies his skits. One such pony is Celebration for whom his affections grow day by day. Older ponies, however, often disapprove, seeing his acts as frivelous, distracting ponies from their pursuit of power. He doesn't let this get to him, simply mimicking them in his skits with a healthy dose of hyperbole. When confronted by such ponies or when put in any other such stressful situation, Pinstripe has a terrible habit of breaking into fits of giggles, often making situations worse.
