So I mentioned that I am a music major, right? Yes, yes, I play the violin, and cello as a second instrument. So anyways, Instrumentation and Arranging is a class required for music majors in their Junior year. Well, within this class, we are required to do several projects where we take a short excerpt and orchestrate it for different ensembles within the orchestra. This first project is Gambarini's Lessons for the Harpsichord orchestrated for the string quintet. (Violin 1, violin 2, viola, cello, and double bass) I didn't write the original music, I simply took the piano music and rewrote it for the string quintet. Enjoy!
P.s. Click download to be taken to another page to listen to it. There is a "awkward" note in the middle of it, but that's simply part of the music. I'm not aloud to change it. =( Wish these were real instruments instead of computerized ones.
