Last year 
marinaneira gave me a Beaver plushie that was in need of special care. The poor thing had a torn seam and was filled with old crusty foam stuffing (Upholstery Foam I think) that was hard and powdery. Doctor Ember and Nurse Snow were happy to help make him healthy again.
Our brave little patient needed a lot of work:
We opened the ripped seam a little
Pulled out all the old stuffing
Vacuumed the insides clean
Washed him inside out (protects the fur)
Let him air dry right-side out
Preformed a stuffing transfusion (stuffed him)
Sewed his seam closed (Mama Bear did this part) and fluffed his fur.
Today Paddle is soft & cuddly, and enjoying life in my plushie colony with dozens of new plushie friends and many hugs. You can see Paddle here: https://twitter.com/SnowTheBearCub/.....24773967159297
