The young lad took a look around and did a double-take. Wolftaurs, ottaurs, liontaurs, tigertaurs, and beartaurs, oh my! How he had never noticed before puzzled him, but the girl he had a crush on was a vixentaur... And the teacher himself was a ringtail taur - ringtaur? - with four arms and five tails.

The boy had to wonder: was the teacher the cause of all this? But before he could ask, the teacher answered his question: "I'm surprised you took so long, considering the shot was given at the beginning of the year. Now you are fully a student of Alpha Centaurus Private Middle School."

The other students looked over at him and smiled. They had their front paws on the desk, maintaining the illusion of sitting at it like a boring human that those who had not changed saw. His crush giggled, and he could smell the hormones coming from her. As he realized what that meant, he smiled. Sure, he may no longer be human on the outside, but for some reason he knew that he would have a very foxily romantic year.
