Fresh from the kitchen, cooking up some haunches. :) Even managed to give him a bit of a butt, but then the tail placement sorta erased it all. Booooo.

The feet are Brawls, and I should mail those back to him tomorrow :D

Goes by a few names. It's closed cell eurethane foam, aka EVAC, or L200. It's the same as the craft foam sheet's from Michaels, just thicker :)

Foam pod, I suppose. Using EVA foam to fill out a volume or shape. In this case, Dweezil legs. Reticulated foam would work as well.

You made the mold in any paper before? or simply was molding?

I did a small model up first, then used that as a rough guide. The curves and shaping takes a bit of fine tuning/adjusting once you do it up full scale :)
