Just been working on an F-8E Crusader jet model I just got in the mail today. So far not quite finished but getting there.

F-8 is a good choice but interestingly not actually an E model. It's missing the targeting blister on the nose just forward of the canopy. Been slowly working on a 3d model of one only reason i spotted it lol

I don’t think there is quite a thing on any of the jets. I’m guessing the diecast models don’t quite have it or I just haven’t finished working in it yet.

They probably kept it off but used the name to keep it in line with the show. The nose is actualy an earlier nose shape among a few other little details. But don't mind me I'm just being an aviation nerd lol
