Several years ago while hiking in Northern California, I happened upon this awesome staff-sized stick lying on the ground. I took it home, did a little carving on the head (which was already visible to me upon finding the stick), added feathers for ears and wings, and used a power drill and a dull bit to create the spiral grooving down the shaft. This is a WIP, don't worry, I will add better eyes when I find the right cabochons. :>
