I'm sorry for your loss; my cat Amber suffered the same fate with a tumor. Pepina was a wonderful cat I'm sure; I am truly sorry for your loss my friend.

Pepina may be gone from this world, but she'll remain forever in your heart and memories, I remember a quote from Dr. Seuss Geisel:

"Don't be cry because it's over, smile because it happened" Every day when I think of Amber, I remember that quote and I instantly remember all the good times I had with her; give the quote a go whenever you feel grief over the unfortunate loss of a family member. Pepina is family to you. Always.

Indeed that's what I tell myself. I was quite in peace with her fate, because it went for so long and money just kept on going and going, with no positive result. She is in peace now.

How sad, I hope she is in a nice place right now.

I'm happy for her, she suffered so long it's just been sudden, my mother takes it worse, and says "if only she underwent that surgery earlier" but I keep telling her that it doesn't matter anymore, and that if she did undergo the surgery it would be expansive, and she had 50:50 chance for survival

A real shame, the good side is that she stopped suffering, the process she was going through sounds really horrible. I hope you and your mother are well, my sincerest condolences

So sorry to hear you lost her so badly around that time of year. I hope 2020 fairs you better...
