Fantasy Land Plushies - Interface's Expansion Pack
(It's called an "Expansion Pack" because I play a lot of video games and, frankly, I had no idea what else to call it.)
I stumbled upon Ephraim225's gallery on FA a long time ago. His(?) work is largely fetishist, and while it's not a perfect match for me, it's still strangely appealing while avoiding my turn-offs. Of particular note was his series of plush/rubber characters, which were creative, but at the same time fairly... I don't want to say "formulaic" because that sounds too negative, but I did notice quite a few distinct patterns, enough so that I could create my own along the same lines. Detecting and following patterns, especially when it comes to characters within a setting, seems to be a talent of mine; there's a reason it's one of my commission options on DeviantART.
Most plush characters have two-word alliterative names, but exceptions are made, usually if the name is a reference to something in particular. Characters are usually modeled loosely after various animals, real or fictional, and their main habit is stuffing people into magical costumes (usually in the character's likeness, although the definition of "costume" can be very broad) by various means. There is always a way for the costume to be removed from its wearer, but it tends to be obscure and/or difficult to execute. Ephraim's character profiles include the name and a paragraph of description (like mine), plus a picture of the character and a smaller picture of a person in a corresponding costume (which I didn't do because I'm an inexperienced digital artist).
I hope Ephraim likes my contributions to his world. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, as they say.
