In this scenario the steal league had performed a jump in their universe and ended up in the halo universe where they have been spending last 350 years rebuilding the star league with its territory being laurel bigger than the unsc. Yix species is part of the star league as rogue t'vaoan had left their system long ago and found the league. Intrigued they would join them. Currently the league is at war with the covenant along with the unsc forces who they still are uncertain of didn't to a 30 year long Cold War prior to the human-covenant war.
