You're giving me a view into the pacific northwest that I've never had before. It's hard to believe all these amazing locations and vistas can all exist close enough for you to photograph and share. Keep them coming, please. I'm enjoying these a great deal.

90% of my photos are from this area, the rest being road-trips to other equally beautiful parts of the USA. Most are from within no more than an hour or so drive of me. This part of Washington is simply spectacular! If anyone had some time to spend in the area I certainly would work up a travel guide for them. Some are readily found on the map, others just slightly off the beaten one. All worth their weight in ooh's and ahh's.

This is the north end of Washington state looking from one of the trails in the North Lake Whatcom trail network. Looking out across Lake Whatcom itself to South Lookout Mountain (which also has an extensive and well maintained trail network). I am hoping that by the end of this summer I will actually make it to the top of this beauty. I've ridden much of it but not quite made it to the top, yet.
