Two units are wandering in the frozen woods of the ardennes, and stumble upon each other. They're cold, tired, far away from home and fighting a war that's already decided. So, what to do? Pulling the trigger would mean a firefight that you may not get out of. Or alternatively, taking a step back. And letting the other unfortunate souls do the same, engaging in a slow retreat, sparing them all a terrible fight. That's what's happened, based on a story by
