On the 18th of Nov back in 2012, I drew and designed, the first design of my fursona, Bec.
At first I honestly though I'd change fursonas again within a month's time, but Bec kinda grew on me as time passed. Instead of scraping the character completely, I chose to edit them. Changing their design ever so slightly as time went by. Ways that reflected how I grew and matured as a person.
Overall not much has changed on them, but every little changed meant and still means something to me.
It maybe a month late, but to mark 7 years of having Bec as my fursona, I finally sat down and re-draw their first drawing again. And looking at them side by side, I'm really proud of how my my art has really come a long way since I made the Derp, and I'm really happy on how Bec as a character has come to. It's funny to think how this strange blue coloured fox with a mouth on their tail has helped me in my past years.
