The original sketch was my first experiment with a full beard on Draggor (previously I've only drawn him with a soul patch). I only just decided to color it.

Some new techniques I learned in this one: the stubble took me a couple tries to get looking right. I ended up using a dot pattern on two layers, with slightly different scales. I also liked the way the hair looks textured on the side of his head, due to the jagged pattern of the hilight and shadow.
