Here we have ming in a more BattleTech style design suit, it being based on the one design done by cev rosa on discord. But artist giving it more BattleTech style vibe which I rather enjoy. In BattleTech ming is part mercenary group known as the FirFoxes who were originally part of Capellan Confedreation Warrior House Order known as Dao Feng. Warrior House Dao Feng was one of original 2 warrior houses that were founded and rivalry with warrior house immara who was always keeping in favor of chancellor even before the warrior houses were formed.

House Dao Feng was did have a defense fleet that would rival with can Capellan Confederation Military Forces and rivaled Immara House own Fleet and ground forces. Immara being jealous of House Dao Feng would plot their demise with whispers of lies being spread across the confederation till it hit the ears of chancellor. Immara would conjusre false accusations, lies, and forge documents that would enraged the chancellor and would order house dao feng destroyed. However those loyal to house dao feng managed to warn them in time. With house dao feng managed to take what civilians they could along their defense fleets and leave Confederation state, however those left behind would suffer the chancellor wraith and House Dao Feng vowed one day they would return and bring down the confederations and all those that conspired against them.

They eventually would settle beyond the periphery where they would find a long abandoned star system that once belonged to the terran hegemony and the star league defense force. Partial city/town was found on one of the worlds that was terraformed along with abandoned bases and space stations with partially completed ships in high orbit still remained intact and surprisingly enough haven't decayed. They spent 50 years in this system with a small fleet showing up out of no where, this fleet belonging to clan that must not be name, clan wolverine, who had escaped their own destruction long ago. House Dao Feng, or The firefoxes as they call themselves snow, offered them to stay which much of wolverine did as they saw the firefoxes as kindred spirits. Though those that did not stay would move on and continue to wander the stars.

They would remerge from the periphery under the ruse as a mercenary group known as the firefoxes and kept their origins and home system a secret from the innersphre. They would earn a reputation being professional and very well trained mercenary group that somehow managed tog et access to some warships, some which they do not recognized. During the clan wars the firefoxes would take advantage of the clan batchal and often openly challenge any clans that were on worlds they were paid to defend. Knowing of the clans before hand gave them advantage, especially upgrading weapons and tech that would match them in battle, as after each batchel they would wind and would absorb the clan forces into their own respecting the clan ways and also a way to increase their own forces.

Despite houses wanting the clan technology, weapons, and ships for themselves that the firefoxes absorb, they would point out their contract about how they are in the right of their contracts to take whatever they managed to win in any of their battles against clans or anyone else they fought. However they would share what ever finding they have with the innersphere and even how modify their technology to defeat the clans.

(also has version where star league accidently jumped into the halo universe with them reforming the star league in the halo universe. They spending 350 years rebuilding their nation and is slightly larger than the unsc but not by much. Currently the star league consist of humans, mings species, and even rogue skirmisher group that joined them.)
