I've done some thinking on the main villan of my book, Ghaust Zakeem. Up to this point I've potrayed him as a pure evil being, but I don't want his character to be that simple. I want the change to be progessive, but the closest they got to seeing Ghaust in the past is when they went back in time (nowhere near far enough). So I added the memory fragments, left behind by Schala in the inner sanctum, each showing a different piece of Ghaust's earlier life. The whole point of this is to better understand Ghaust, and not simply look at him as evil from the start. This piece, and the others that follow it, are inspired by a song I composed for Ghaust's past.
