As I have gotten older the most important thing is spending time with family and friends. I still like getting gifts but I no longer care how much it is worth. I care more about the idea that I was some one you wanted to get a gift for. Family and friends are more important than gifts to me and the memories I make is far more meaningful. So win or lose thank you for the chance.
going out and spending time with family in Canada, our aunt always throws a big party but maybe the best thing is seeing everyone's face light up when opening gifts, it's really a highlight at the end of a rough year
my favorite is the season, when the cold weather starts to roll in and how beautiful things can get when covered in snow, and after a day out in the snow it's always nice to sit back, wrapped up in a heated blanket with a cup of hot chocolate ^-^

I think my favorite thing about Christmas is being able to get someone a gift without having to feel weird about it? I like to give people things, especially if they don't.. like.. get much? Kinda just like when I see something and I think of them, not going out of my way to find it. I don't have to explain myself to them x3 it's just "Merry Christmas!"
Fave thing about the holidays? The lights and decorations. Everything looks so peaceful at night time. And if you live where it snows, the lights covered by snow are even more beautiful.

My favorite thing about the holidays is being able to spend time with my mom, she just recently had surgery and I'm thankful that she was able to make it through
I also love spending time with my Nana on the holidays because she is just one of the most wonderful people I'll ever know and love, you may not know it but I'm crying rn talking about my Nana because I love her so much that I don't wanna lose her, I'm dreading the day that she passes and I'll never be able to see her again except in my heart, she is probably the closest person to me in my family and I love her for who she is, there will never be anyone like her again in this world, shes always going out of her way to take me and my brother on trips that cost her a lot of money and I just can't repay the kindness and love she shows me, I'm gonna go before I start crying all over phone

Ask her if you can record her saying "I love you" or something, and put it in a build a bear, and get one of her shirts to make into an outfit for them <3

My second favorite thing about Christmas is getting together with family and friends. We throw a big party with soups and games the weekend before Christmas for our friends. Then on Christmas Eve our family comes over and we have dinner and relax. My most favorite thing about Christmas, now that I have kids, is watching them open gifts and creating this family tradition with them. Nothing better than that to me.
Hmm...my fave thing about x-mas...well its gotta be the most simplistic thing i know but .... *pokes fingers together* the Holiday lights...i love the LED Christmas lights and just look at them in Awe ...it calms me down...and i strangely collect Christmas lights <.< what ? I like the shines!

haha I start shopping in like July. I like finding things that remind me of people. I love making people happy. But I also like to see what kind of things made other people think of me when they saw it.

But mostly i keep to my self lol last time i got some one a gift they were extremely ungrateful so i don't do it any more heh...I try to be a good person but there is always some one out there to just ruin you damn day xD then again i cant really afford to get people gifts cause i want to make others happy to but mostly ends up with me killing my own happiness >.<; Glad to know some one like you exists :3

It's where everyone brings a wrapped gift, at or around an agreed upon amount like $15-25 bucks and you draw straws, pull names from a hat, whatever, and the first person that picks, can pick any wrapped present they want. They unwrap it, and then the next selected person can steal the revealed present for themselves, or get a wrapped present. If they steal it, then the previous person can pick a new wrapped gift.
So at the end of the day, everyone has a gift, and there's some cheeky fun to be had.

Favorite thing about Christmas? I guess I just really like the pleasant atmosphere. For a while everyone is wishing you Happy holidays and being friendly, doing charity work, volunteering, donating. Its a bit of a bittersweet thing bc you wish this were a year-round sort of thing but it doesn't really stop the enjoyment of it in the moment right?
I like the spirit of christmas. the whole "good will towards [human kind]" deal. a reminder we need to be less jerkish to each other, and that peace and love are kind of awesome and should be pursued.
