Nala serves the team as a medic and second scientist working alongside her mate Tai sho Maat. While she has little interest in fighting she is very good at it, combining her psychic capabilities with physical strength that doesn’t seem to match her size and nimble but tough tentacles.
Why she is not sympathetic to the humans, she is incredibly curious as to whether or not they are capable of surpassing the ‘are you tough enough to be respected as a person/possible ally’ test. She does see a great many similarities between her orololi companions and the human and pigeon aliens from the planet Earth.
