Hey noodle what did you do today?

Well I woke up at about 7:20 when mum came downstairs, saying I had to be up there at 7:30...Oof! I thought I had to be awake at 7:30! Nevertheless I brushed my teeth and got ready and that took exactly 10 minutes, so both of us got what we wanted.

We headed outside then mum and dad and I put the log splitter back in the truck, this time facing the opposite direction and with the splitting section moved into the vertical position (rather than the horizontal, which is how it's often stored and moved). We strapped it down, loaded the truck, and hit the road.

I tried to get a nodl nap en route, but I just couldn't make it happen, so I tried typing, but the words weren't flowing, so I just listened to the comedians that were on the radio. When we crossed the time zone line it went from 10:21 (before breakfast) to 11:21 (after breakfast), so we stopped at a White Castle and I bout us 20 burgs and 4 fries...Also I got myself a cherry conke and dad a coffee. I ate about 7 or 8 of the burgs and 2 of the fries, then after I was well sated I rested my head on the bags andtook a pretty refreshing and relaxing nodl nap!

I woke up when we got close to my sister's place, because mum woke me up. When we got there we started tying the tree up, and it was a bit harrowing. The tree was filled with dead limbs and the tree was leaning in the wrong direction, but thankfully we found a storm drain that we could utilize as a tie-off point. Even still, with mum and myself and sister, it was a scary experience. We were pulling on the rope and as the tree toppled, we took off running. Thankfully, it was a pretty uneventful fall.

After that dad started cutting up the logs, and that's when Leo arrived, and he and dad cut the wood into easier to manage pieces, while the rest of us stacked wood and cleaned up. When it got dark I had a spiked hot cocoa (so very good!) and then Leo eventually headed out. The rest of us went inside and relaxed, then eventually we went to a Chinese restaurant. We followed Debbie as she drove (she drives like an F1 driver), and they stopped at Aldi's for beer. Mum and dad shared scuttlebutt about Katherine being the 3rd wheel, and how it seemed everyone's patience was being tested.

We got to the restaurant and in addition to a Pebis I had some mein and many types of chicken and rice and seafood...2 plates of food and a bowl of pudding! There were a bunch of Mexican kids running around the whole time, and it turned out that was because there was a party. We left around 7:30ish and then went back to their house. We chatted for a bit longer, watching Pawpaw the cat bully Chloe (which is odd, because Chloe often bullies cats). Before we left I took Chloe for a walk, then when we said our goodbyes we headed out to the hotel. We got there and went up to our room (205), sneaking Chloe inside via a bag. When we settled in and after I'd gone to the bathroom, I headed downstairs to ask about the wifi. The woman said that it was open, and so I headed back upstairs, but when I put my card in the room allllll the alarms in the hotel went off. I was super scared, and thought that maybe I'd set it off by putting my card in the slot, but nope! Fire alarm.

Mum went downstairs to ask about them, and it turns out that the alarm was coming from room 116...Except they dun have a room 116, so that was odd! We settled in and watched nature shows, and Chloe, scared by the alarms, nuzzled in between my left leg and the couch's arm rest. We put a blanket over most of her body and let her stay like that for about 30 minutes so she'd calm down. We spent time in the room while I typed and mum watched the TV beside me, and we were entranced by this poker channel. After, there were some nature docus and I would up falling asleep to them around 1:30.
