Thanatos, the self-proclaimed "Grim Reaper King", is the creator of the Reaperverse where most of my characters hail from. He was originally seven different warlock kobolds who served under the same dark dragon patron until their master was slayed by a divine god and passed down his deific powers over to his servants who would then go on to use them for intergalactic travel. Eventually they would get found out by one of the divine gods and so decide to combine each other using their late master's magic to become their current form in order to fight back.

The kobolds turned dragon would get sealed into an empty realm mid-battle where they now reside. With no other place to go, they would don the name "Thanatos" and begin to create this uncharted universe in their own image, even making use of life creation magic that they've manage to steal some of from the deity they were fighting in order to garden a fresh batch of races to the new world, with dragons having a clear biased from Thanatos himself due to his love towards the race inherent from his former kobold selves.

Speaking of the kobolds, Thanatos is able to recreate then from his enchanted cloak as seven creatures made out of shadows, each representing a different sin and color. As for Thanatos himself, his primary domain is that of death. Henceforth, he dominates over all aspects of the element of darkness.
