When I finished Chris (the mutt) I thought I'd go easy and just do some cop-out abstract background or something. Lucky that a Cadillac and a patch of California got in there though, it was boring without them.
Several different photo refs used for the car ('76 Eldorado), I don't draw them often (read: this is the first).

A very nice picture, it all fits together somehow. His expression seems thoughtful to me an the dark background underlines that mood.
I also have to criticise, because the Torso looks kind of flat. A bit more shading on the sides should correct that. And his right hand doesnt throw a shadow on the car. Besides that its perfect. I like it a lot. And the car is great, even if you wouldnt have done this the first time.
