The reason most holidays in her village weren't celebrated was because survival was more important than things such as having fun. Snover and Abomasnow are weak to a lot of things so they're raised with a strong mentality to love the group over the individual. Reina loves everyone, but she doesn't know how to be in love with someone (yet).
