I had been working on this piece off and on for a couple weeks, have been in a rather festive mood lately. I originally finished this in time for my 20th birthday which has since passed. I wanted to draw this lovely lady I received as part of a design trade with @/sleepy.kiitty on Instagram back in June.
I decided to name her Rosemary, in this piece she is collecting holly in her favorite basket. She is a florist and a craftswoman, her specialities are making seasonal bouquets of homegrown and wild flowers. Rosemary lives in a small cottage in the woods, but many come to visit her to browse and buy her bouquets. Her apprentice is Dakota, who is trying to learn how to be a skilled gardener and florist as well. ❁
