Across the Cosmos- Happy Valentine's Day!
A holiday pic? And ON TIME?! Who are you and what have you done with Koopus?
This is actually a little early, though. My watch is not calibrated to the proper year's calender and thinks the 14th is today. And so did I... Until I checked the calender on my computer screen- After I'd practically finished this pic... Okay, being deathly boring, let's switch tracks...
The pic, yes. Well it features Shift and Luna- Boltro's characters- being all sweet and romantic. At least I hope that's how it came out- I haven't drawn them in a while, sorry...
Anyway, who's that at the bottom? It's my very dear friend
Odin Ashcroft! I hope this is okay, I once again rashly decided to draw a friend's character without first asking permission... Odin probably knows what that little scene is about- It's sort of a private inside joke... Thingy. Just to be clear, that female wolf at the bottom is not Luna, it's the zoologist from Culture Shock. And her rather muscular puma boyfriend is here too.
Well here's to spreading the love! *tosses heart shaped confetti and flower petals in the air, laughing until some pieces float down into his eyes* Ack! *rubs eyes fervently* Love hurts sometimes.

0-0 *has been stricken mute by this unexpected surprise...and begins to burn like crazy, his cheeks a very vibrant red* Koopus...this is just so...so...Wonderful of you!
I mean, I don't know how to describe what I'm feeling right now, but for one thing, its SO far from anything negative! It was very sweet of you to depict me in this scenes (acting in very much the manner I would to very beautiful wolfess such as the zoologist...and probably ready to run from her puma boyfriend >.>). I cannot begin to thank you for this. I need to get you something! I can't just accept this without getting anything for you! *tugs on his hat and coat, rushing out to go out and get something special for the koopa...only to come back, still quite red* I should at least finish the review before I do that, right? *coughs and reddens*
On Boltro's characters, I definitely like the touches you made to have it nod towards the stories/pictures set in that universe, and it fills me with quiet joy as Luna and Shift embrace each other...and their tails becoming entwined with one another, simply made me awww. The shimmer colors of the night sky is also a very neat effect, and definitely adds to the overall romantic approach you went for. A very nice nod to the story structure over Boltro's established universe/ongoing plot.
And going back onto the second portion of the picture, I have to say, you really got me down to a tee. I never made it a fact I'm what you call smooth around women, where I just try and be helpful and nice as I can...not like I'm impressive physically to get their interest (especially as its clear this wolfess seems taller then me...). Still, I'd try to show my affection in a gesture as simple as flowers...and of course, I'd choose the wrong moment to do it, cause here comes the boyfriend! XD. Another point I must applaud is we see both the puma and wolfess in attire not made up of a handkerchief (or swamped inside their formerly fitting clothes), which leads me to say you got that very alluring, quiet librarian style to her that I think looks absolutely fabulous on her (especially since it sort of masks her own beauty quiet well, something I saw in the Culture Shock picture. Of course, I'm surprised at how ripped a cartographer can be...but speaking as the wolf making a move on his girl, I will not question it ^^;;;
Overall, this is a very well thought out, and wonderfully sweet valentine you've made. I really REALLY appreciate it Koopus, and I really should get you something...*yelps as he looks at the clock,tipping his hat* Fantastic work Koopus! Thank you ever so much! *runs out the door, trying to find any stores selling Valentines at this hour!* (Seriously though, thank you lots Koopus )
