Darok's Backstory:

He's the last of the Karidai, an Orcish clan. After all his friends and relatives were slaughtered by a mysterious Necromancer and his army of undead monsters, a young orc named Darok managed to escape the massacre. He spent several days lost in the forest, sick, starving, and on the brink of death... until he was rescued by a humble old hermit orc named Gharuk, who gave him shelter and cared for him until he recovered.

Gharuk had no intention of keeping him, but he realized the young orc was too weak to survive alone in the forest. So, he chose to stay longer, training and strengthening Darok. Time passed, and Darok grew into a strong adult thanks to Gharuk's wisdom. But the old orc eventually succumbed to illness, leaving Darok his rune sword, the "Slayer," as an inheritance.

Thus, Darok's adventures begin... seeking revenge against the one responsible for the massacre of his clan.
