I love comics. Now my curiosity strikes up because the moon in the first pages was full. But the title causes a few gears to start cranking.

It's partly a wordplay on glass half full/empty . There's more to it than that obviously, but I'm not revealing that until part two.

I figured that there was more to it. Which is what I was implying, it causes the metaphorical gears to start turning.

I'm usually pretty strict about the mechanics of the word the transformation is set in but at some point you just have to let it go or it will ruin all the fun.

Technically, transformations could exist. You also have to take into consideration that we (as a species) only use 10% of our brains. What could we do with just 1% extra? Telekinesis, telepathy, transformation? You have to remember that during birth, bones are created and shaped out of nothing (more or less). But, hey, maybe having access to all 100% just means that all we can do is remember more facts, numbers, and other stuff.

Haha I don't know why I never really thought of that.

Then perhaps a different scientific explaination...

The intensity of a fully lit moon when it hits it's peak provokes the transformation... (But then considering the moon's light is merely a reflection of the sun, then why wouldn't they change in daylight? Perhaps specific hours, or a specific amount of darkness vs light is required...)
When the moon reaches specific points in it's orbit around the earth, and earth hits it's various points of rotation to require a full moon in a particular portion of the world, that sparks the fire...

Of course, my favorite kind of werewolves don't follow the rules at all and change when they please. Because really, I'd be pissed if I could turn into something awesome only once or twice a month :(

Here is a simpler explanation. The lunar phases of the moon have an affect on the ocean's tides. It also has an affect on other things too. Some known, some not. How can we know everything that is affected by the lunar phases?

Well, it effects the tides because of gravity, so maybe a certain amount of lunar related gravity sparks the traditional werewolf shapeshift? :o

It is not just gravity though, the weather, distance, rotation of the moon at that point in time, everything. They all have affects on the Earth. Which includes flowers, animals, even the way snow can fall. Everything is affected. Why not affect the supernatural that does not exist to our current knowledge? It is even said that the lunar phases can affect how people think. Food for though, I guess? I have no idea anymore, it is waay past my bedtime and my brain shut off about 9 hours ago.

I know where I want to end it and I sort of know what I want to do to get there, but I don't know if what I want to do will work so well on paper yet.

So far a very rough draft has been written for the next six pages. Of those six pages one has been completed and one is partially inked. How soon those first two pages will be posted depends on how quickly I can work out the kinks for the rests of the script. I won't give out a timeframe for that because every time I do that my creativity gets adhd and starts working on yet another project (working on 11 comic like projects at the same time right now).

Why is she going uh-oh? Is she turning more-- *sees "The Next Morning" caption* Oh. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I'm at page four of 8-9 pages for the second part. I suppose I could post them as I draw them but then it would be a cliffhanger every two weeks or so. I'm not really sure that's much of an improvement.
