This is actually something I've always wondered (for some reason). When an eldritch monstrosity causes you to grow eyes where there shouldn't be eyes, are they actually your eyes? Like, can you see through them? Does it hurt you when they get poked? Or do they belong to said eldritch monstrosity, so you can just sit there and shake some pepper onto them to get back at it for being such a dick?

Well, I'd say they would be your own eyes or if they did grant said eldritch creature sight, the target would still be able to see from them as well, and if they were to be damaged it would only hurt the creature it was on.
