trying to learn csp again which was a mistake again
im just too dumb to use it and get so overwhelmed by not knowing how anything works
tutorials haven't helped much at all, it's just so different from sai and doesn't give me the looks or feelings i want

I doubt it has much to do with your intelligence.
More like preference and design. Some software gets made by people who are not artists. In that case, you get something that does not flow the way an artist does. It's much like people who do not fly trying to build an airplane. You end up with a plane that satisfies those that don't fly...
I suspect this CSP program is much like that...
Every artist I know uses SAI... And I know quite a number of artist, some very good ones actually.
Remember that it is a tool. Not unlike a mechanic or a craftsman, clunky tools simply are not used. If this is clunky for you, ditch it- and don't let it worry you my friend.

I do appreciate your in-depth and thoughtful response, I was honestly just whining into the ether and not expecting anyone to read much less respond;;
Clip Studio is a wonderful program to its credit, I'm just...not intuitive or disciplined or patient to learn things bit by bit and get frustrated when I do not understand within a short time...
I always worry that I will be unable to use Sai anymore, or I want more tools that it sadly can't offer but CSP can.
Just me being immature and impatient wishing I was able to use the program fluidly like how Sai was and is to me.
