I saw a bunch of people posting their art glow ups today and this is the only truly comparative piece I have, which is something I redrew for an old friend of mine for a bonus wedding gift.

The story was kinda that, at the time, I was super into creepypastas and really liked the Ben Drowned one bc Majora’s Mask is, story wise, one of my all time favourite Zelda games. My friend read it, as well, and we decided it might be an interesting story to try and do something derived off it. Also, I did lineless works at the time.

This was a piece that I considered among my best, circa 09. I did the redraw in 2018, and I’m still utterly in awe of my own improvement. Even with a solid like...year, where I just wasn’t drawing.

Anyway, these are some ancient ocs. They haven’t been written since first year of high school, and it’s incredibly sad. I may try to spruce up my boy, Luke, from this piece someday but...eh. We’ll see. My stories have moved away from the initial inspirational pieces for the stories I wrote with this friend considerably, and I’m not sure I could even write these characters if I tried for the most part, anymore.
