Ravin' Rainbow Derp! (now with SCARF!!!)
Just when you thought you could get away from Derps, here comes one with RAINBOW BLASTING ACTION POWERS!!! And +10 SCARF OF DEFENSE + STYLE!!!
Courtesy of the man with the difficult name,
krechevskoy! The rainbow color stripes means he's HAPPY! ;) But how can a Derp NOT be happy? It is impossible.
Fun Fact: You know how hard it is to get rainbow colors to not look like crap together in random background shapes? Kinda a lot sorta.
I guess that's a fact.... maybe more of an opinion. Ah well. @__@

Not sure I understand...
I mean I took color theory, so I know all the schemes... but I've got an 8 color limited pallette + white, I have to balance the colors so they get equal representation in the composition, each color has to stand out enough and not blend with it's neighbor, and I have to make it so the same colors don't end up near each other more than once... kinda like color theory meets sudoku or something. Or maybe I'm just too picky about it, hehe.
Though that is a pretty cool little link there. :>

I think you were overthinking it. *nuzzle* Think of the colors in terms of extreme and moderate temperatures. Your natural tendency toward compositional balance will demand harmonious usage of these extremes, and use of the moderates to help them work together without much thinking going into it. It's fun to do it that way.
