I thought love was the sensation of bonding with another person because similarities, likes and later positive histories. Working together to find someone you're compatible with in life. A partner you don't want to lose.
Not "I'm going to prove how much I love you by buying you stuff."

Sure its thoughtful..thanks for thinking about me. I like this. But isn't true love thinking about you all the time and dedicating yourself wanting to be with your partner forever? Something more then material? Or is thought not enough and you need to throw in some dollar signs on that bitch?
