They couldn't exactly stick to the path, for it was impossible for them to occupy it at the same time while walking side by side, so they simply walked along either side of it. Even so, there was nothing they could really do about the cracks they were leaving. After all, this park wasn't made for their type.
Said park was sprinkled with frost. It was quite a cold day, and the two girls had bundled up, though the Stego was still feeling the draft creep around her. "Brrrrrr..." she shivered. "You're lucky you haves feathers, Abby..."
The Pteryx glanced up at Sherazade. Her feathers had fluffed outward, making for a nice warm extra layer, enough to be one reason for rolling up her sleeves, with the other being that her wings would get messed up if they were crammed into the hoodie. "... You know, I read somewhere that your kind should have feathers too," Abequa replied. "How come you don't have them?"
Sher shrugged. "I don't know. Same reason that Carno next door can camouflage I guess."
"Oh, the one who peeped in on us that one time?"
"Yeah... and then you sat on his face."
"And then you sat on the rest of him. Not bad for someone who doesn't like violence."
Sherazade giggled. "Well, you know... He could've at least asked before trying to snapshot my butt..."
"And then you would've sat on him just for asking that question, right?" Abequa asked with a raised brow.
The Stego conceded. "Eh... yeah okay, you got me there," she said sheepishly.
"Good," Abby finished. "That's what you SHOULD do."
Sherazade glanced at Abequa, having not expected to hear that from her. At this, she sighed, and with a smile warm enough to melt the snow around her, she murmured, "I love you, Abby..."
Abequa snorted, not answering verbally, but in her usual way, returning Sherazade's warm look with one that was still serious as ever, but with a rare, slight smirk at the corner of her beak, which was all Sherazade needed.

So apparently there are these things called Dinovember and Dinocember? I missed the former, but here's something for the latter.
Since Sherazade and Abequa couldn't fit in the beach pic, I'm giving them some spotlight here.
I really like big girls in hoodies for some reason.
