It's been a while.
I'm really sorry to say that work on Nuada stopped a while ago.
This is something I really wanted to make, there's actually a surprising amount of myself in it. However due to some behind the scenes stuff, lack of planning and rush lead to me really hating working on this.
There's some things I wanted to add or change which all I can really say is, they lead to me having to remove elements I really liked and had mostly finished. A fair chunk of the stuff in question never made it to a public demo. In the last days of working on the game it felt like I had nothing anymore, what I was putting in was pointless and even more rushed than the stuff which needed pulling. Even if I had progressed with the story, it would sit somewhere between what I wanted it to be and what I didn't want it to be.
For some context:
In the early says of working on Nuada some personal stuff happened which left me feeling devastated. 1 - 2 years of work on a fun project which quite literally kept me around through the worst depression of my life was essentially ripped away from me. Then Patreon decided to make a change to their own billing system leading me to really push Nuada out the door just so I actually had something again.
I'm sure you can see how seeing Nuada spiral out of control due to my own incompetence was very hard on me. Deciding to pull the plug on Nuada wasn't easy but it was very freeing. Afterwards I just didn't want to address it and kept talk of Nuada to a minimum. I did intend update you guys but I kept putting it off, it's just upsetting but it's the least I could do for you guys who found me here and actually cared enough to comment on updates.
Not much point in dragging this out further.

goldengriffiness for being there since pretty much the beginning and pushing me forward with this. Not to mention for putting up with me.
And thank you guys for being here.

aaww man i was really looking forward to this vn i don't think there is any other gay furry vore vn but if you are having behind the scenes problems and stuff like that this is the right thing to do for your sake i hope things get way better for you
is it possible thought that may be you could let someone else continue this or if things do get way better there is a chance at all that you might come back to this one day?

I'm not against someone else working on it or returning to it with a much smaller scope but I'd like some better ideas before bashing into it or find a writer who is as comfortable pushing harsher things like I am. One of the last things I added to the game was something to handle mid speech sound effects and a content warning system. Since obviously with the area the game was going into there would be points where you have no control over what happens next and what triggers those moments may not be obvious.
There's a lot of little moments that were planned that I'd still like to see finished. but they were mid-game stuff.
In terms of time frames, I want to get my own discord server off the ground (again). Polish off my bot named NuggetBot, theres where in-game Nugget came from actually.
