I think you are getting Dian in a nut shell. Her coloration is very similar to her father's coloration. A dark brown with black mane and tail.~
It's my thoughts at least that the hybrids ~can~ end up coloured like either of their parents or have some odd cases that are hybrid specific results. Dian is the former. =3
