Volsar found a weird red gem one day, and in a later battle it rected, granting him the amazing armor. With it, he found he could control and create fire. It was amazing, a new tool for his arsenal.

I would also like to note this is the first time we have seen Okoru's released form. A pair of swords, each with unique abilities.
