My husband lived in Israel when he was a kid. He swam in the dead sea, once, but it was after he'd spent a few hours repeatedly going on a brand new waterslide. Well the waterslide had all this little fiberglass stuff coming up and it got into his skin, but he didn't notice until he got into the sea. x_X
