So at my job, we have a bulletin board to make the staff aware of what's going on in the store, and we have an area where we thank each other for doing stuff, like the day crew did a great job of putting out the produce, or the night crew did great job of cleaning, etc... So I felt grateful for getting the job here, and that everybody there was very supportive and nice that I wanted to do a thank you note as only I could do!
This was done up very quickly last Sunday, and has gotten a cool reaction from everybody at work.
Joey Chunks is a nickname that I got because after my first three hours at TJs, I threw up. Not by nerves, but because I had a 24 hour virus and I TRIED so hard NOT to be sick, but there you go. Some of the management wanted to be able to tell me from the other Joe's,(as there are four here, and there is already a Joe M.!) so they wanted to make it based on my first day, LOL. I have taken the name in stride and good humor (i think), and have a Joe Pesci-like voice to go along with it! I have even been putting Joey Chunks 'quotes' on the blackboards I have been doing lately!
I should take more pics of some of the newer signs I have been doing. That will be in the future.
