The two of us here are on an important quest to rid the world of an ancient demon king, rising again after a 300 year slumber, with the help of a set of magical gems. I'm wearing the Gem of Wisdom in my boots, meanwhile my magical buddy over here wields the Gem of Strength in his staff. But there's one more gem out there, and one more wielder needed for our quest to be successful. So until then, we huddle in an ancient ruin, catch our breath, and come up with a plan.

I got the same vibe! I do have some magic here, but it falls into one of the situations where I allow Arix a bit of magic - the use of passive enchanted items.
As for the gems - my boots give me the ability to move at tremendous speed, his staff increases its casting power tenfold. Perhaps they have other abilities we haven't discovered yet?

So you want me and my guys to help you conquer the world?. hm, why not. we haven't really gotten any fun lately. So you said something about a few pests bothering you and your plans?. Heh, they can't be that troublesome "Starts drinking a mug of ale"
