Vanissa is often seen by others as a hot-headed Scorbunny looking to prove herself, but mainly wishes to show everyone what she can do. In the past she looked up to the idea of evolving like her sister Gabriella who liked to be very competitive with Vanissa, even making challenges that Vanissa wasn’t able to do yet. This made her very often want to show her sister she can be more than what she is and led to her accepting the promise of waiting to evolve later on when her friends presented it to her. She often hated being seen as a kid from or even being seen as a weak pokemon despite her skills, making it feel as if the promise was a mistake. Through the years as she grew up with her friends Charles and Henry, she began to begin the preparations towards the Galar Gym Challenge. While Vanissa can be somewhat stubborn when she wants to outdo her sister, she can be a great ally to have on a team. Especially with someone who can keep someone on their toes.
